WARRANTY 
We provide your vehicle with a lifetime warranty on the repair. This Guarantee covers, and is limited to, the repair. Under this Guarantee, Drake’s Collision and Detailing, at no cost to you, will arrange for the correction of any repair that fails to meet generally accepted industry standards for form, fit, finish, durability and functionality, as commonly recognized in the U.S. automobile repair industry at the time of the repair (Generally Accepted Industry Standards).

This Guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper maintenance, neglect, abuse or subsequent accident.

This Guarantee applies for as long as you own or lease your vehicle. This Guarantee is not transferable and terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer your vehicle.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Do you repair all vehicles?
    Yes. We repair all makes and models.
  • Am I obligated to use the shop my insurance recommends?
    You are not obligated to use any particular shop to obtain repairs. You choose the shop and you authorize the repairs.
  • Is the insurance company’s appraisal final?
    You do not have to accept the insurance company’s appraisal of the damage. See the “Appraisal Clause” in your policy to resolve differences.
  • What are my responsibilities before I can pick up my vehicle?
    You are responsible for the cost of repairs. Financial arrangements must be made before the vehicle can be released.
  • How long will it take to repair my vehicle?
    We pride ourselves on efficiency and on-time delivery. However, the exact repair time on your vehicle depends on some things outside of our control. For example, Parts availability and the responsiveness of your insurance company can affect the time it takes to complete a repair. When we prepare your estimate, we will let you know based upon our years of experience how long it will take to repair your vehicle and then we will keep in touch with you if there is a change in our original time estimate. 
  • Do you use after market parts?
    Yes. We prefer to use original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for all repairs and we do everything within our power to maximize the use of OEM parts. Your insurance company might only pay for aftermarket, rebuilt, recycled, or reconditioned parts. If you have questions, do not hesitate to discuss it with our manager.
